Cladding – New Forest, Hampshire
Cladek transforms storm damaged garage

The New Forest is a beautiful area and on this occasion we were asked to be sympathetic to the environment and supportive of the local economy.
A storm caused significant damage to the cladding on a timber boarded garage in the scenic New Forest National Park. Cladek took on the challenge and delivered a stunning transformation, navigating the complexities of working within a designated National Park area.
the expertise of Cladek’s Architect who has over 20 years experience designing for customers in the local area, and his strong relationships with the local planning departments and councils we restore the garage using locally sourced “Inch Thick Oak Cladding” from a New Forest sawmill. Ensuring the project honoured the area’s natural beauty and design restrictions.
Despite the challenges of working with solid oak, our expert fitters crafted a flawless, even finish that exceeded our client’s expectations. We created oak fascia’s, window, and door frames to complete this traditional look.
We also replaced the roof, using reclaimed “Rosemary Tiles” for a heritage look and added a decked loft with easy access from the ground level. With Cladek’s commitment to high quality and local craftsmanship, this garage has become a proud, enduring part of the landscape – and our client couldn’t be happier. The project was completed on time and to budget with consistent client involvement and regular updates on material sourcing and project delivery.
