Rendering is the process of applying a protective and decorative coat to external walls of a building. It improves the durability through weatherproofing, enhances thermal insulation and appearance of a building by giving a modern, clean and customizable look increasing a property’s value.
Ground preparation: The surface where the decking is levelled out and a water penetrable sheet is placed to stop any weeds growing through. The surface should have a slope to cause water to run-off.
Under-deck framework: A timber/composite/aluminium framework is constructed to support the decking. This is accurately measured and constructed to supplier specifications to ensure the decking is properly supported ensuring its longevity.
Installing the boards: The boards are then installed, ensuring even spacing and accurate cuts, whilst allowing for thermal expansion whilst remaining aesthetically pleasing.
End cuts: The ends of the boards are then all cut to ensure the perfect finish.
Treatment: Some decking options require a protective finish/stain to ensure the decking will be durable through harsh weather conditions and maintain its aesthetic.
Customisation options: Any optional extras such as railings and balustrades, lighting, pergolas, seating and storage will be added using the appropriate construction practices. Using high quality materials and a high standard of construction these are built to last and will endure.
Due to its textured surface offering grip and its moisture resistance properties reducing the opportunity for a slimy texture composite decking is less likely to cause a trip. We still advise to be careful though!
Composite decking is a modern-durable and low-maintenance alternative to wood; ideal for homeowners who want a long-lasting, hassle-free solution that maintains its aesthetic appeal over time.

It also requires minimal maintenance – just soap and water are required to remove dirt and debris so no more staining, sealing or sanding! Aesthetically composite decking is available in a wide range of colours and textured finishes mimicking the natural look of wood without imperfections like knots or grain inconsistencies. The colour you choose will also not fade or weather.

Fascia are horizontal panels which run along the roof edge, supporting the bottom tiles and the guttering is secured to this. Soffits are the boards installed underneath the fascia which protect the roofline and improve ventilation. Fascia and soffits are vital in protecting your roof and walls from water, and improving ventilation – reducing mould and rotting issues. Guttering collects rainwater and channels it into your homes drainage system, preventing water damage, erosion and flooding around your property.

Yes, damaged fascia and soffits can lead to significant roof issues. Cracked, rotting or missing fascia and soffits can allow water to seep into the roofline causing mold and mildew growth and structural weakening of the roof. Damage to your guttering system can cause erosion around the foundation of your home.
